The Ladies' Golf Club,Troon was founded in 1882. The clubhouse overlooks Royal Troon's Championship course on one side and the Portland course on the other. From the dining room you can watch people surfing, sailing, swimming and golfing and there are magnificent views of the island of Arran and the Ayrshire coastline. Portland is a challenging links course for golfers of all abilities and it is kept in first class condition all year round.
